Did you ever wonder what happens to your SketchUp or Revit model once you click the Kubity export button? The answer is: A LOT.
Up to 2 million polygons are destroyed, rebuilt, and optimized up to 50% lighter. Thousands of textures are decoded and transcribed using artificial intelligence (AI). And 360 degree viewpoints are rendered instantaneously in photorealistic 3D at the touch of a button.
All of this happens automatically, so all you see is fast, easy and mind-blowing results.
Kubity: More Than an App
Kubity isn’t just an app or a plugin—it’s a complex machine powered by two capable 3D engines built from the ground up by our development team.
When you export a model with Kubity, it’s first treated by Paragone, our 3D crystallization engine. Paragone destroys and rebuilds the polygons that make up a 3D SketchUp or Revit model by using a mathematical equation and machine learning. Paragone extracts data content, geometry, and textures, then analyzes and organizes millions of different data sets lightning fast.
Once decimation and optimization is complete, Paragone hands off the data set to Etna, our cloud rendering engine. Using AI, Etna analyzes the original SketchUp and Revit textures to quickly classify them into millions of predefined photoreal texture categories. These categories are then assigned to materials inside the model and rendered in real-time—this means the entire 3D model is rendered in photorealistic detail with incredible fidelity.
With texture encoding completed, your model can now be easily opened on any device and explored on our app or on the web. No special settings to turn on, nothing to learn, nothing to code.
When it’s this simple to do everything, you can do anything.
